About Notes of Praise Music School

Notes of Praise Music School is one of Barbados's accredited music education providers, registered with the Barbados Accreditation Council, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth as a Cultural Practitioner, and the TVET Council as an N/CVQ Centre. It is the first Barbadian institution approved to offer the CVQ in Musical Performance at Level 2, a recognised regional qualification.

The school operates from a Christian ethos and serves students from age 2.5 through to adult level.

Why Families Go

The early entry age of 2.5 years is uncommon. Kids drums and kids music classes for the 3 to 5 age group run in 30-minute sessions, making them age-appropriate for young attention spans. The structured block system of 10 lessons per block gives a clear beginning and end point, which is useful for parents testing whether a child is genuinely interested before committing long-term.

The school has a strong track record of developing young musicians. One former student started drumming lessons at age 2.5 and progressed to performing alongside professional musicians, eventually taking up a second instrument.
