The Animal Flower Cave sits beneath the cliffs at North Point, the northernmost point of Barbados in the parish of St. Lucy. The cave takes its name from the sea anemones, known locally as animal flowers, that live in the rock pools inside. First explored in 1780, the cave features chambers carved by centuries of wave action, arched windows framing the open Atlantic, and a natural rock pool fed by the sea.
